Cards utilize both NFC (Near Field Communication) and QR Code technology For NFC, simply bringing the card close to an NFC-enabled smartphone will prompt the phone to read the NFC tag within our cards and instantly transfer the information. If the smartphone lacks NFC, just scan the QR code using the camera app to have your details displayed on their phone.
The speed of our Digital Smart Card can vary based on the smartphone being used. Please allow some time and try tapping or scanning the card a few times if necessary until the smartphone detects it. We are confident that most smartphones will receive the data within 1-2 seconds, or even faster! Regardless, Cards offer a much quicker alternative compared to traditional paper business cards.
You can position the Card directly behind the smartphone or hover it within 0-5 cm of the back. As NFC stands for Near Field Communication, the card must be close to the smartphone for successful data transfer.
Our Cards are crafted from PVC (plastic). Although we are exploring the use of more sustainable materials, current limitations prevent us from offering the cards in anything other than PVC. Additionally, metal NFC cards are not feasible due to the interference metal materials have on NFC/RFID technology
Yes, NFC technology generally works with most phone cases. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all cases, as some thicker cases may cause interference.
About 90% of modern smartphones are NFC enabled. We are confident that your Smart card will work with nearly all of your clients' smartphones. For a complete list of NFC-enabled smartphones, please click here. Please note that some older Apple devices (such as the iPhone 6, 6s, 7, 8, and X) lack 'Background NFC Reading', which allows the phone to read NFC cards without a third-party app. For these phones, we recommend scanning the QR code. Most modern smartphones can read NFC tags without needing a third-party app.
All smartphones equipped with a working camera can scan QR codes. About 90% of modern smartphones have a QR code scanner built directly into their camera app. Some older phones might require a separate QR code scanning app.
Your Card enables us to update your details remotely within seconds! Simply submit an email to request the change of details. We'll process your request within 24 hours, and you'll receive an email confirmation once it's complete.
Our cards are resistant to rain or minor water exposure. However, it's advisable to prevent your card from getting wet, as we cannot ensure that they will remain fully operational when wet. Submerging your card in water is strongly discouraged. To preserve the print and functionality, it's best to keep the card as dry as possible.
